To weigh your luggage you simply attach the hook to the handle or strap of your bag and lift.  After a few seconds your luggage weight will appear on the large easy to read LCD screen.  The system will automatically lock the displayed weight so you can easily remove the hook from the bag and the weight will still be shown on the display.  You simply press the hold button to clear the display and then you can weigh the rest of your bags.
